Rapper The Game welcomes second son
Rapper The Game, Jayceon Taylor, 27, and his girlfriend Tiffany Webb welcomed a son, King Justice, on April 25th. King joins older brother Harlem Caron, who turns 4 on June 30th.
Game will beat the rap, lawyer says
MANHATTAN. West Coast rapper The Game will be acquitted on charges that he impersonated an undercover cop last year, his attorney said yesterday.
The Game, whose real name is Jayceon Taylor, 26, is expected to appear today in Manhattan Criminal Court for a status hearing in connection to his Nov. 16, 2006, arrest for allegedly entering a livery cab at 56th Street and Seventh Avenue and telling the driver to run at least two red lights because he was an undercover police officer.
Taylor, who has pleaded not guilty, also allegedly flashed what appeared to be police identification, according to a criminal complaint. He was later arrested and charged with second-degree criminal impersonation.
“The case was weak when it started and it continues to limp along,” Taylor’s attorney, Jeffrey Lichtman, told Metro yesterday. “We expect an acquittal at trial.”
Taylor actually flashed a photograph of his son — and not a police badge, according to Lichtman, who claimed the NYPD had been following his client prior to the arrest.
In March, Taylor failed to appear for a hearing in the case because his fiancée was hospitalized due to a high-risk pregnancy. Judge Neil Ross issued Taylor a stayed bench warrant that will be voided if he appears in court today.

Rapper 'The Game' pleads not guilty to LA basketball game fight
LOS ANGELES—Rapper "The Game" pleaded not guilty Thursday to punching and threatening to shoot a man during a pickup basketball game in South Los Angeles.
The 27-year-old rapper, whose real name is Jayceon Terrell Taylor, entered the pleas in Superior Court. He is charged with three felony counts of making a criminal threat, possessing a firearm in a school zone and exhibiting a firearm in the presence of an officer.
Taylor, who remained free on $50,000 bail, faces more than years in state prison if convicted.
Prosecutors contend that during a Feb. 24 pickup basketball game, Taylor punched an opposing player, then pulled a gun from his red Cadillac Escalade and threatened to shoot him.
His attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, did not immediately return a message seeking comment.
The Game is due back in court on June 27.

As many of our readers know, several tracks were leaked from The Game's "Doctor's Advocate" recording sessions a couple of weeks ago. Although it was never confirmed, some of the tracks were rumored to be produced by the likes of Dr. Dre, DJ Khalil, and Focus.

The Game Charged with Pulling Gun During Game
Rapper The Game has been charged with making a criminal threat and with possession of a firearm in a school zone during a Feb. 24 pickup basketball game, according to the L.A. District Attorney's office.
The rapper, whose real name is Jayceon Terrell Taylor, allegedly got into an altercation with a player on an opposing team during a basketball game at the Rita Walters Educational Learning Complex in South Los Angeles. After allegedly punching the victim, cops say The Game pulled a gun from his red Escalade and threatened to pop the victim. Not very sportsmanlike!
The 27-year-old is also charged with one count of exhibiting a firearm in the presence of an officer. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday for the three felonies.
Just last month, LAPD arrested The Game at his Glendale home, after police executed a search warrant. He was released on $50,000 bail. If convicted, The Game is facing more than five years in state prison.

The Game Set To Release Exclusive Tracks
Rapper The Game is set to release six new exclusive tracks later this week, on AmieStreet.com, a music website.
The upcoming songs released by AmieStreet and Game's own Black Wall Street label will include "Around the Way," "Murda," "My B***h," "Beautiful Life," "Still Me," and "Won't Stop."
Launched in July of last year, AmieStreet is an online music store, where the community determines the price of songs and members are rewarded for their musical recommondations.
The six new tracks from Game come as anticipation builds for a new album from the Compton, California native.
The exclusive songs by The Game debut on AmieStreet.com beginning June 6th.

DJ Skee Confirms Lil' Wayne/The Game Collaborative Mixtape Effort
DJ Skee confirmed Wednesday night (May 30) that The Game and Lil' Wayne are working on a mixtape together. "We're working on it now," DJ Skee said over the radio air waves. "Nu Jersey Devil and Lil Wayne are recording in Miami, while me and The Game are recording here in L.A. It's gonna be crazy." Skee revealed the info on his radio show on L.A.'s Power 106. No release date has been announced for the mixtape.
DJ Skee also confirmed that The Game will be retiring following the release of his next album. "Me and [Game] have spoken [about retirement] behind the scenes and he just feels he's accomplished so much in such a short time," said DJ Skee.
The Game recently announced in a clip from QD3's "Beef IV" DVD that he would be retiring following the release of his third album. "I think three classic albums are good for me, you know? I got my point across," Game said. "I was a prominent figure on the West Coast and a bigger figure in hip-hop as a whole. I think I made my impact enough for my name to be said and remembered."

The firey Compton rapper claims that his third album will be the last installment of his career as a rapper, in a recent taping for QD3's Beef IV.
The rapper didn't expound on his exodus, but stated that he's achieved what he sought to do in Hip-Hop.
"I think three classic albums are good for me, you know?" The Game said, eventually using the past tense. "I got my point across. I was a prominent figure on the West Coast and a bigger figure in Hip-Hop as a whole. I think I made my impact enough for my name to be said and remembered."
He also credited producer Dr. Dre for helping him achieve his success.
"Dr. Dre, working with him and him molding me and and helping place me among Hip-Hop's elite MC's is good enough for me," he said. "Last album. One more to go."

"Right now I'm taking a break from Hip-Hop and enjoying time with my family and my friends," he said.
